A plain-language explanation of what Bravith does and does not do with visitor data.

Information We Collect
Bravith is a static website with no user accounts and no forms that submit to a server. The contact page uses a mailto link and a mailto-based form that opens the visitor's own email client rather than transmitting data to Bravith; nothing you type on the site is sent to Bravith. Bravith keeps an anonymous count of how many times each resource and guide page is opened. That count is a single number per page per day and stores no IP address, browser details, identifier or other personal information. When Google Analytics is enabled and you have allowed it, Google collects usage information as described in section 3. If hosting infrastructure that logs traffic is added in the future, standard web server logs such as IP address and browser type may be collected, and this policy will be updated to reflect that change before it takes effect.

Cookies and Local Storage
Bravith itself sets no cookies. The only cookies that can appear on this site are Google Analytics cookies, and only after you have allowed analytics as described in section 3. Bravith currently shows no advertising and uses no advertising cookies; if that changes, this policy will be updated before advertising is switched on.
When the cookie banner is shown, your answer is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, under the name bravith_consent. It records which categories you allowed, when you answered, and the version of the banner you answered, so that you are not asked again on every page. Nothing is saved before you answer, the saved answer never leaves your browser, and it is kept for one year, after which the banner asks again. You can change or withdraw your answer at any time through "Cookie settings" in the site footer.
The banner, the saved answer and the footer link exist only while analytics is enabled in Bravith's site configuration. When analytics is switched off, Bravith loads no third-party scripts, sets no cookies, saves nothing in your browser and shows no banner.

Google Analytics
Bravith may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand which pages, guides and resources are useful and to improve the site. Google Analytics runs only when both of the following are true: it has been enabled in Bravith's site configuration, and you have allowed the Analytics category in the cookie banner. Until then no Google script is loaded and no request is made to Google from this site.
When it runs, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which distinguish your browser between visits. Google states that these cookies last up to two years. Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type, and processes it on Google's servers. Bravith sees aggregated reports and does not attempt to identify individual visitors. Google explains its own handling of this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
When Google Analytics runs, Bravith also passes your choice to it as a consent signal, so that advertising storage and personalisation are always marked as denied, and analytics storage is marked as denied again if you later withdraw your consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing it stops Google Analytics from loading on later page views, tells Google that analytics storage is no longer allowed, and removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser as far as your browser permits. Google also offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site.
